Poetry by Barbara Gramza

Where Are You?

We walk through life burdened by unfulfilled dreams.
With faces that hide the truth.
With empty eyes, we search for warmth.
Where are you now, man?
The world is rushing, and we are lost.
In the everyday crowds.
We follow the sound of money.
And the scream of ambition.
We build bridges of appearance and silence.
We enjoy the illusion we ourselves have created.
But I wake up every day with a spark of hope.
My heart bears scars, but it still loves.
I am not afraid to touch the wounds and the past.
I am a pilgrim of my dreams.
Even if the path is winding and full of shadows.
I pick up my lost values from the ground.
I crush the ice of pride and put on the crown of humility.
When no one is watching, I thank you for life.
And I will be here until my last breath.
Until I find you, where silence reigns.
